I needed IVF but when I was first TTCing, my gyn recommended every other day from cycle day 9-14
or just use the Clear blue monitor and BD when I saw the egg in the window or whatever they recommended, I can't remember

I just went my EWCM once I saw it was like that we baby danced that night. I had it 3 days after my period went away and then again a week later. Next month BFP

My obgyn said most women would get pregnant if they BD every other day between CD 10-20.

I have this all saved somewhere on a psycho calendar that I used when we were trying... (don't you know that I saved that calendar for later when we try to get pg again  )
If I can remember correctly, we bd'd 6-7 days up to "O" and 2-3 days after. Didn't prop my butt up after, didn't use preseed, didn't eat extra x,y,z. What I DID do was, after getting my levels checked (I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis), readjust my synthroid per doctor and she lowered my dose. She said that being on levels of Synthroid that were too high could have been preventing me from getting my BFP. That's the fun a/b Hashimoto's though... I got checked out every 4 weeks and still my levels were wacky.
What have you been doing to get your BFP besides the obvious BD? lol...

first time around we tried SO many different things for the first 4 months- temping, OPKs, and lots of different "plans" for BDing.
all the time my sister (4 kids, all conceived within 2 months of trying) and my best friend (2 kids, conceived within 2 months of trying) were giving me the same advice and were getting annoyed at me for not doing it.
FINALLY during our 5th month we did it their way - BD every other day for the middle two weeks of my cycle (from a few days prior to O to a few days following). we got pregnant that month.
second time around we did it that way to start and got pregnant our first month trying.
there are lots of different ways to do it... but the every other day way is simple and takes all the guess work out of it. if you just BD consistently every other day there is no way to miss your fertile period.

i started using OPKs CD 8, got a +OPK CD 12, also had a ton of EWCM on CD12. We BD'd CD9, CD11, CD 13 CD14 and CD 15. Got a BFP on when i was 11dpo. I hope this helps!! Good Luck!

i will be completely honest.
We saw the RE when i thought i'd be ovulating (just by coincidence) and he said that i hadn't yet ovulated.
I gave myself over MENTALLY completely to the RE - put my fertility in his hands 100%.
We bd'd one night twice and the next night once (when i THOUGHT i'd be ovulating, based on nothing more than my gut, cramps and CM) and got a BFP that month.
I have to be honest with myself and i think me finally letting go of control and knowing that us 'making' a baby was no longer in our own hands, allowed me to do the terribly taboo word, RELAX and there came the BFP.

The month we got pregnant, I used the digital clear blue OV predictor and the answer ones, we only bd when the smilley came and bd till the answer test showed no more ov prediction, the smiley usually came before the answer one detected....

BD'd every other day till I knew around the time I was going to Ovulate so then we BD'd every day for a week straight. Even twice in a day sometimes (which was pretty exhausting)... then went back to every other day and Finally got my (+) sign the day my period was due. I had no symptoms or anything that I was pregnant or even going to get my period

I had been using OPK's for 4 months prior. The one month I decided not to and just to enjoy the whole thing, I got my BFP after being 2 days late. From what I calculate, I got pregnant the only time we had sex the entire week leading up to and post ovulation.
