Re: the baby name saga continues...
Thanks ladies! The thing is, our last name is very Italian (ends in a i), but I am irish so I love irish names. DS is Joseph, and another boy would be Nicholas, so we are sticking with Italian for the boys. But if this baby is a girl, I am not a huge fan of italian girl names, except Arianna and maybe Gianna. Does having two kids, one italian name, and one irish name, sound stupid? Like, Joseph and Kennedy?

Re: the baby name saga continues...
I dont think of Joseph as an Italian name so my answer is no, it does not sound stupid to have Joseph and an Irish girl name
Joseph can be anything - giuseppe is another story

I feel your pain!! DH and I have agreed on a boys name, but we can't agree when it comes to the girl.
My favorite off your list is: Morgan Reagan

Re: the baby name saga continues...
honestly... i am not a fan of very ethnic sounding first names when the last name is very ethnic sounding but of a different ethnicity.
my husband loves irish sounding first names (e.g. donovan, sullivan), but his last name (and the baby's) is very jewish. i just think it sounds funny, so we're going with more "neutral" names.
if you have a very italian last name, i would go with a more neutral name... of the ones you picked i like arianna. jmo.

I'm partial to Morgan since we are 99% sure if it's a girl that will be her name.

I don't 'get' this ??? And alot of people feel this way - but your name is your name and it suits YOU regardless of the ethnicity - IMO. My maiden name is Italian - 4 syllables ending in an "i" - My name is Marisa, which I guess COULD work if you pronounced it "MarEEsa" (which my Grandfather did) but my sister is Alexis .......And that's just her name .....KWIM? My cousin is Patrick - his father is Pasquale and they didn't want to name him Pasquqle ..........but at 30 years old Patrick "S" - 4 syllables - "I" doesn't sound 'weird' b/c his first name is 'Irish" .......KWIM?
name your kid what you want !! -

I don't like any of other ones though---sorry! I don't like last names as first names, particularly for a girl, JMO though! you have to pick what you like!
