How is this possible?
I've only gained 2lbs, and I'm only 5.5 weeks.
So, someone, please explain to me how is it that I couldn't button my "big" jeans today????

bloating!
I couldn't button any pants that early on! By 7 weeks the bloat went away enough where I was able to wear my pants comfortably.

i LOST 12 lbs in the first 5 months and couldnt fit into my "big jeans" by 6 weeks as well...very bloated..its also my 2nd

I'm 6 wks today and sweatpants are tight and uncomfortable.
Since I'm out of work and been dressing lazy, I'm pretty sure none of my real clothes would fit. I am in trouble if I get any interviews!

BLOAT. I can't button my jeans either. 
Wait till 10 weeks or so and the bloat will go away and then you will get a real baby bump!

bloating - I lost 5 lbs - so far (I'm now almost 13 weeks) and I have had issues with my pants for several weeks I gave up and just put on my maternity jeans and I'm so much more comfortable. I got very bloated immediately.

I have been so afraid to get on a scale because I feel like at 6 weeks, my tummy is so bloated that I must be gaining by the minute. Maybe it won't be as bad as it looks after all.

I think I was up like 5 or 6 lbs of bloat in the first 6 weeks from bloat!!!
But it went down!
