Horrible infamous stomach virus
My newly PG friend (like 4 weeks PG) got that horrible virus this week with the vomitting and diareah (sorry for TMI). She still isn't back to herself after a few days and gets queezy when she eats. Is this super harmful.
She has some prenatal vitamins left over from a prev pregnancy that she started taking as soon as she got the BFP. Anything else she should/not do?

Re: Horrible infamous stomach virus
I had that horrible virus last weekend (at 8/9 weeks). I was so scared I was going to hurt the baby because I couldn't keep any food down and had a mild fever. My doctor said everything will be fine, the baby can't get the virus. The most important thing is to stay hydrated even though I couldn't eat. I just had to keep drinking. I hope your friend is feeling better.

The same thing happened with me. YOu just have to drink plenty of fluids and soup! She has to ride it out.

I said the same thing, she said water makes her nauscious. She's been doing Ginger ale. I don't think that's as good though and there's a lot of sugar.
