anyone with a cerclage?
hi...my OB suggested me getting a cerclage due to and IC with my last MC...she suggested a McDonald cerclage....any opnions?

i never had one but if you have IC and you have had a previous late miscarriage, i personally would jump at the chance to get one. i have read that the risk of infection is minimal and the benefits are very high.

I have had several friends that got them and had no problems. Keeping your baby safe and in there is worth it!

I was told I might need one due to a history of cervical surgery. I'm being closely monitored and would have the cerclage in a heartbeat if recommended. I think it's a good option for IC.

A cerclage saved my friend's baby. If it's being recommended, then you should probably have it.
