pinched nerve

I think I have a pinched nerve. I am in so much pain I can hardly walk. Is there anything I can do to relieve this pain. THanks.

Re: pinched nerve

while i'm not a doctor - nerve is usually a burning pain, burning or tingling...

sharp makes me think muscular...

try a MOIST and HOT compress...the moisture helps penetrate the muscle!

Re: pinched nerve

Have you tried chiropractic? Where is it bothering you the most?

Whenever I have a pinched nerve, I find that a good adjustment always makes me feel better within a few days.

Hope you feel better!

Re: pinched nerve

I will try the heat and see if that works.I wasn 't sure if a chiropractor would see me if I was pregnant. I will try that if the heat doesn't work. Hopefully the heat will give me some relief. This pain is the worst. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Most chiropractors will see you--though you'd want to go to someone who works on pregnant women regularly. If you're anywhere near Farmingdale, I have an AMAZING chiropractor that I miss dearly--I begged him to move to NC with me but I guess I can't afford his moving expenses Chat Icon He has ALWAYS been able to make me feel better!
