mom updated
so mom had a mammo, then a sono and they found calcifications on one breast and a nodule on the other. The doc is recommending seeing a surgeon for precautionary reasons even though they said not to worry and it's probably nothing.
I'm on the ledge. She didn't have any films for comparison so who knows if these have been there forever or not. I think they are being overly cautious for good reason. They had no recent films to compare.
Please send some good thoughts that it's nothing.

I saw the radiologists report. It looks like it's nothing but they are sending her to the surgeon to be sure.
Whew..I really can stop worrying for a while. Of course we will get her checked out but they mentioned benign at least 6 times in the report.

You know it. The implications of her having something wrong is too much to bear for me these days. She's survived brain surgery and a heart attack. She's one tough broad!
I thank God every day that for the most part my folks are healthy even though they are getting older.
