Re: heart burn
I had horrible heartburn and I was allowed to take Zantac 75 twice per day. It helped tremendously.

Re: heart burn
I was at the dr. last night and asked about this. I am currently popping tums left and right. The doc told me that if I am exceeding the recommended dosage, to stop and get zantac 75 to take twice a day.
Apparently tums have a lot of calcium which you don't want building up in your system. I never thought you could take too many tums
She said zantac was totally safe and then i could always supplement here and there with a few tums if i needed to.

See - this is where a check with your doc has to be recommended.
My doc told me that there's no such thing as too many tums...she said they're very good for you...
She did suggest Zantac too - but said Tums are great!

It usually gets bad for me at night. I take two tums and it usually goes away.
