Has anyone used "Potty Training in a Day?"
DS is sooooo ready to be potty trained. His teacher at school agrees, and I want to work with him. The teacher recommended using "Potty training in a Day" for him, since he has several different people who watch him.
I saw it at B&N online, but I wanted to know of anyone used it and if they had any tips or advice?
Thanks!
(BTW I do not expect it to work in only one day... )

I just bought this book on Friday...along with the Elmo DVD Potty time!
I am in the process of reading it and I was going to give it a try over Christmas week, since I am off and I can dedicate a few days to this process.

We are watching the DVD right now  . I think I am going to buy a potty seat this weekend and start putting DD on it to get her used to it and see how she reacts. She will sit on the toilet with clothes on and the cover down now...not sure how she will react when I try to put her on it with no diaper!

Does he like stickers?
We potty trained(day only) Kaitee in 2 days with stickers! We also skipped the potty chair and went straight to the regular potty. Kaitee is 27 months old.

We tried at 27 months & failed terribly. It was messy, stressful & very unpleasant. Lots & lots of pee on the floor, absolutely none on the toilet (she knows how to use it & has in the past).After two days, we quit. I thought DD was ready, but she's definitely not. So we'll try again in a few months.
DD loved the video "Potty Power" more than Elmo videos. I got it at the local library.
