GROSS
I always clean out my ears after I get out of the shower. I hate the feeling of water in my ears :ahh
This morning, I barely put the Q-tip in my ear and I hit my gag reflex -- I immediately threw up breakfast. Like Q-tip in, vomit up all in the same moment. Well, because it was so weird, I did it again and sure enough, a Q-tip in my ear makes me vomit. 
I am going to have to come up with a new way to get water out of my ears...

Sorry bout that. That is awful.
Not to get technical but, it kind of makes sense. Your ears are connected to the back of your throat by eustachian tubes. So pushing on the tubes can push on the parts of your mouth that stimulate the gag reflex.
I hope that doesn't last long!! Sorry!

Ugh!
I know what you mean though - my gag reflex kicks in when I blow my nose.
So strange how our bodies change, right?
