last pregnancy i had heartburn from basically day 1 (among other things like severe morning sickness  ).
i didn't take anything first tri, but if if i get it again this time around i will take zantac right away. it was a godsend!

i have had it since the very begining and it's been horrible... i was told to take 1 pepcid AC max strength a day... i try not to take it if it is not too bad..
for the days i dont really get it by late morning i use mylanta if it comes on suddenly at night time
it is horrible, i feel for you... though right now at 34 weeks, the last week has been more tollerable!
