Spin off to Sirius/XM ....UPDATE with new issue at Bottom
I'm COMPLETELY clueless and maybe should pay more attention...  
so they have "officially" merged? Do I need a new receiver?
How do I find the channel line up?

Sirius/XM channel lineup
If you want the "Best of XM" specifically shows like Oprah network, Opie & Anthony, and varius sports...you can upgrade your plan to that one...its $16.99 a month. Since I just renewed DH's subscription--he had to call to have them change from the Sirius Everything to the Sirius Everything Best of XM

No you don't need a new receiver they will just change everything with what you have.
I am not happy with XM because half the stations I listened to went bye bye. I thank god they did not get rid of Opie and Anthony and the 80's and 90's station then I would have said goodbye to XM. They didn't even send us a new lineup to let us know things changed.

On my XM right now there is only channel 35 Holly the other channels dont start until after Thanksgiving.

nvm...i think it's channel 21
The "new wave" station still exists. It's 1st Wave and it's the same station number. (Don't ask me which number. I have them programmed on my radio so I just push the button  .)

The only problem I have is that Left of Center was a way better name than Sirius XMU (my personal favorite station). What is a "XMU" anyways?

I just called to have my receiver reprogrammed, or whatever they do!

OK...now I am SERIOUSLY confused....
I have an XM receiver and a subscriber of XM...
the way it was explained to me is that only a few channels are combined.
I have to have a SIRIUS receiver and subscribe to them in order to ger their channels + whatever came over from XM.
Does that make any sense???
It's just not one big happy family with all the same channels

To avoid getting confused further, you have to look at it like Cable Television.
Cable TV typically has channels MTV, CNN, HGTV, etc.
On say Cablevision, CNN is channel 25 (or whatever it is). On Time Warner NYC CNN will be a different number.
Either way you are still watching the same CNN.

exactly my point. there already is a 90's channel. I am so upset they removed Lucy. I might not renew my membership

Not if you dont want to. If you want some of the select XM stations you can change your package to include them.
