Gardeners - what do i do with my impatiens?

they have finally thinned out. do i just rip them out of the ground? do i let them continue to die?
please help me!

impatients are annuals so yes rip them out.

i always give human emotion to non-human things. i think i am going to hear them cry :(

so do I! it just breaks my heart to see an orange "X" on a perfectly healthy tree. i know that tree is coming down and it just doesnt seem right.

Yup....and don't wait for the first snow, which I made a mistake of doing once, cause they get very slimey at that point as you try to pull them out.Chat Icon
