DD Hair Dilemma-to cut or not? Added Pic

DD is 15 months and I have never cut her hair. She was born with a ton and lost a lot of it on the side, but none on the lower back by her neck are or on the top of her head. So, the back is pretty long and she pretty much had a mullet for a very long time.

Now that the rest of her hair has grown in, I think it looks kind of funny-all different lengths, some curly , some straight. I am thinking I should take her for her first cut, since we have Christmas pictures coming up soon. However, a part of me feels sappy about it.

I'm trying to post a pic, it's not the most recent, but you get the idea.

My dds hair isnt long but it is all different.. kinda straight and long in front but short and curlie in back. Im not cutting, Im hoping adventually it will all catch up together..

If your dds hair is getting to hard to control then i would consider cutting, but just make sure the hairstylist is a good one.. sometimes they could make it worse.

I hesitated with cutting DDs hair for so long and when I finally did it I was so glad I did. She ended up with a really short bob with bangs but it looked so cute and neat. Now I may keep cutting her hair like that for a little while because I do not have to worry about bows etc. which she always pulls out.

Given the fact that you have Christmas pics coming up and the lengths are so different, why not cut it! If she were under a year, I would say wait but I think you should go for it! She is adorable either way! Chat Icon

I think I'd even it out without cutting too much off.

Love her tutu!

I would cut it.

DD has had 3 haircuts already. First was at about 8 months.
