Baby shower help please
Hi- my best friend is pregnant and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for something special I could give her at her shower.
I am buying a registry gift & making a diaper cake- but she's really special to me and I want to do a little something extra and something sentimental- thanks for your help!
she's having a girl if that helps

Hmmmm I'm at a loss, I really can't think of anything that great. Maybe some type of banner for the baby's nursery? A friend of mine had a gorgeous bannner made for her daughter with a Big painted "G" and her name on it "Gianna". Sorry I have nothing else to offer.

i don't know how crafty you are but how about starting a scrapbook for her. One of my friends started this tradition when we all got married to do a scrapbook for the bride. You could either set up a baby scrapbook for her with blank spaces for pics but you add the paper, stickers, embellishments etc. or do like a scrapbook of being friends into her transition to being a Mom. I ended up doing this for my sister and my other friend as well as my DH(I did one for him with childood pics up to our wedding)

I also just did this for my BFF- With mine, I went with a 1st's and Holiday theme...doing a page for 1st Christmas, New Years, S.Pats etc...You get the point....It is very time consuming, no doubt, but also very sentimental and useful for a new mommy with no spare time to do it herself
