People and their guesses

Today I was taking my glucose test and the lab person said to me I hope your husband likes girls because that is what you are having.

I do not know what I am having.

Her rationale was because I was round and she says if i was having a boy my belly would be more pointy.

I just laugh because alot of other people tell me I am having a boy because my looks have not changed and I am all belly.

I am at the point where I think this is all silly.

Have people made similar comments to you? Those who know the sex, are you carrying the way you are "supposed" to be carrying?

yep!

i got comments like that all the time. a ton of people said i was having a boy and they were right!

Nope! Everyone thought I was having a girl and I am having a boy!

I really don't know if there is a way you are "supposed" to carry for a boy or girl. My sister was VERY round and she had a boy. I think I'm carrying round as well, and I'm having a girl.

I honestly do not know *how* I am carrying... does that make sense???

People have not made any guesses for me based on what I look like-- it's more of a feeling they get.

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of those comments. And now that people know I'm having a they just comment that it's obvious.

yup. my belly is much more pointy this time from when i had DD and we are definately having a boy this time.

i swore i was having another girl bc i feel exactly the same. but now that i have totally popped - u can see the difference in my shape.

not that i really believe in the whole theory on how you carry tells what u r having.

My mom is the only one who thought Girl. Im having a boy, and for the most part all belly. From behind I still look like my normal self, as soon as I turn around... its all over.

Everyone keeps insisting I'm having a girl. I will find out in 2 weeks. - I personally kind of think I'm having a girl - I don't know WHY, I just do.

But every time someone says "oh you're having a girl" I think about all of the times my Mom and Aunts have said when you have a girl you look like sh*t

My first pregnancy everyone told me I was carrying a boy. I was mostly belly and viola--it was a girl. No-one's even saying anything this time around!

People have been saying both to me.

I had my baby shower last Saturday, these are the comments I got:

you aren't very big for 34 weeks
OMG your belly is huge!
you are so wide, you're having a girl
you look so beautiful, it must be a boy
you'll never make it to 40 weeks
you are carrying so high, you have a ways to go .....

Yep. And they argue with me when I tell them what I am having.

I don't know what I'm having. Quite a few people have no idea. Of the ones who have guessed the sex, it's probably 60/40 in favor of .

Well with DD I had EVERYBODY in creation - from people in the elevator, to work, to strangers in restaurants etc telling me that it was DEFINITELY a boy. In fact I had a few people told me that they are NEVER wrong and that my amnio must have been wrong b.c this one was definitely NOT a girl - of course it was a but everyone seemed to know better than my amnio and all the sonos I had.

yes!! some people tell me I'm having a girl because my skin is bad and others say its a boy because I look tired. Basically I have a 50/50 shot at either one and look like cr@p.

I"m carrying like a boy all in front, My skin is great and my hair is awesome.....By those definitions I should be having a boy.

BUT, I had Horrible MS (Hyperemesis) and at the begnining my skin and hair were awful, which people say is a girl

That is so funny - same thing with me. EVERYONE said boy for DD and they were all wrong, so this time they are keeping their mouths shut!
