BRU Return Policy
So I had my shower yesterday and got a bunch of clothes in addition to lots of stuff from the registry. I got about three of the same Carter's outfit (it is so cute, it guess it was hard to resist...) and I wanted to know if I could return it without a receipt (not sure if I was given one...I still have to dig through some stuff...) for store credit...
I am assuming the answer is no, but just wanted to check...

Nope unless it was on your registry. You could try BBB though-a friend on here told me they take anything back...

You should try. My shower was 11/1 & I returned a few items that were not on my registry & I did not have receipts for this past weekend. I believe they were taken back because these items were bought with other items that WERE on my registry. So they were then associated with my registry. For example, my mom bought our PNP which was on our registry & some gerber sleep sacks that were not on our registry. I was able to return the sleep sacks even though they were never actually on my registry.
I returned about 6 things that were not on my registry this way & received store credit.

Probably not but Carters is great with their returns as long as the item is sold in their store. There are outlets in Deer Park and Riverhead, as well as Carle Place and Westbury.

I got a lot of Carters brand at my shower and found out at Kohl's if they sell the outfit they will give you store credit for the lowest sale price of the item without the receipt. I got like $ 40.00 in credit there.

You can return it even if it wasnt on your registry. If the person who purchased it bought something else off your registry at the same time, then they can find it and will take it back.

If you have a Carters store near you, they take it back. I have one by me and I returned tons of stuff, they gave me a store credit and I picked out what I wanted. :)

Same here. It seems they would take some things back...although a lot probably has a lot to do with who is helping you as well. If I didn't have the receipt I don't think I got the full price back if it was on sale in the last X number of days...but still, I was glad they took it back at all.
