Croup Question...
My son is 15 months...first time having this..and i'm a first time mom. Took him to dr this morning...gave him steroid...told me about humidifier...and shower with steam!
2 Quick Questions:
1. Any other adivce on how to hlep my son??
2. I am supposed to go to Florida on Wednesday...should I just cancel??

DD#1 is the queen of croup and I steam up the bathroom and sit in there and then out in the cold we go. It sucks but it works. I think you will be fine for your trip as well.

When Julia gets the croup the Dr puts her on an antibiotic to clear it up, helps a lot.

Is it possible to reduce his dairy intake for a few days? Also Multiple steam times in shower, bath or just in the bathroom with shower on. DEF use humidifier. I am not a fan of cough suppressants. I think you want to make the coughs productive. Hang in there. So hard when they are sick. If you are flying he might be uncomfortable but do you have time to change the plans. IF not play it out tomorrow.
