Baby Shower

Hi Ladies,
My best friend (of 25 years) is being thrown a baby shower by her sis. I am devestated because I will be away on vacation. I am getting her a gift but I also wanted to do something additional. Anyone have any ideas of a sentimental gift, basket, baby poem. Any ideas would help. TIA!

I am so sorry you are going to miss her shower.

If you want to get something heartfelt and sentimental I have a suggestion: Take a poem that you like about a newborn, etc, and have it written on a picture matting (someone at Michael's or Pearl paint can help you with what you need. Then put the matting in a nice frame and it can be for her baby's first picture.
