Has anyone asked to show ID when redeeming formula checks at BRU?
I have been using formula checks since DD was born in April. I've swapped with several of you on here and some of my friends. And my moms both get them too.
Today in BRU in Westbury, I was asked for photo ID when redeeming the Similac checks. I have never been asked for ID before. The checks I had were from one of my friends and the cashier told me I could not use them since they were not in my name.
The manager came over and I honestly told him that I swapped with a friend of mine and have been doing this for months and he too gave me a hard time, but finally let me redeem them.
Just curious if anyone else had this problem.

Only once. It was in my mom's name and I fought with them (we have the same last name). I used the checks for almost 6 months and that was the only time I had a problem.

Nope, and I have some that are not in my name. If I am using more then one at a time I try to make sure they are the same name, but even that doesn't always happen

Yeah the BRU in westbury the older lady with the red hair always checks for id with the formula checks. Then i started buying at Target and would go to a young guy.. they never check .. then I started buying at BJs.. they dont check .

Haven't bought formula in a long time, but when I did, BRU policy always stunk! Yes, the check ID 99% of the time! I was told that the formula checks are just like actual checks, and they are made out to a particular person. just like you can't go into a bank and cash a check made out to someone else, you can't use a check in BRU with some one else's name on it 
I always went to Target! They never checked!

I always get checked at BRU Westbury. After that , I looked at the checks. They are not made out to a particular person, but the retailer. And they don't specify that they are not transferable, so I do not see a problem.

YES! i was aked at westbury as well. they would not let me use the ones without my name on them. the woman was not so nice and told me she has been working there x amount of years and they have NEVER let anyone use ones with a different name.
The one in massapequa and sayville never check so i go there or target.
