stretch marks.
This might be the wrong board - but I was wondering, after giving birth, what do the stretch marks look like? I know they will never completely go away, but will they get to the point where they are not very noticeable? They are getting worse and worse for me as my pregnancy gets further and further. I am proud to bear these marks to have my children, but I was wondering what my belly will look like in the future.

Re: stretch marks.
I thnnk it depends on your skin. I have one friedn who had horrible stretch marks and they are still there... a little lighter but very noticeable. My sister had a lot of stretch marks and hers are gone.....
I know a lot of it has to do with genetics. Did your moms go away? or if you have a siter who was PG. That would be your closest idea of what to expect

Re: stretch marks.
I have stretch marks from many years ago. Eventually they fade and you can only see them on certain angles, and feel them if you run your fingers over the area. When you first have them, they are nasty, purplish, reddish deep streaks in your skin. But they do fade over time, yet the crater doesn't fully go away.
