Who's Listening to Music?
The books keep saying around this time (I'm 23 weeks) the baby can hear things outside the womb and to play music. Anyone doing this? If so, what are you playing?
I've been trying to play some classical and some of my regular music. DH and I love the Beatles and always kicks when I play that. And even though it's early I've started playing some Christmas music (more for me than him ).

How do you do this? Do you put headphones on your belly?
I tried it a few times but then I get scared it may be too loud for the baby...lol
It did kick when I played my wedding song...

I'll probably do it - but I'm not one of those who actually beleives that if you play Mozart the kid is going to be born a genius .... I'll play anything and everything for him/her
I didn't plan to use headphones .......just normally listening to music - the car, the stereo - whatever.

I'm the same. I keep thinking Mozart is making him smart. But I haven't done the headphones on belly either. I keep worrying it'd be too loud. If they can hear us talking and get used to our voices, then they can hear the music, right?

Re: Who's Listening to Music?
I listen to a lot of classicla music and jazz when I'm in my studio so the baby hears what I listen to.
I'm not putting headphones on my belly htough because there are studies that link this to overstimulation in a child and can later lead to ADD/ADHD....
My can just listen to what I do everyday, thats enough!
