3 hour glucose test.. any suggestions
I dont know how im gonna keep myself sane. I was thinking about bringing my lap top but i think it just might get to difficult to to bring around. Im gonna go crazy i know it. i hope time goes by fast.

??? I guess I missed your post about failing your 1 hr. That stinks! Sorry to hear that. I just did my one hour today....I took a quick glucose stick before I had my blood drawn and my sugar was 130, so I should pass just fine. (I'm not sure what my OB's cut-off point will be). We'll see.
Good luck with the 3 hour! Be sure to bring a book or your computer. That's a LONG time to sit in one place! At least if I fail mine, I know I can just do my three hour and continue on with my work for the day in between blood draws. lol

I have to say, having done it 2 times now, it's not that bad. The time seemed to go by very fast.
I brought my laptop, had DH with me, chit chat with him, and just kept watching the clock for the next blood test.
It really went by a lot faster than I imagined it would. One suggestion though, pick a lab that isn't as busy. The lab I went to was very quiet and peaceful, not one of the busy centers. Plus it had comfy chairs, which was a huge plus.

I had 2 books, magazines, ipod, even stationary if the mood struck me to write a letter 
It went way faster than I imagined! Good luck!

its not that bad....i just brought my Nintendo DS and sat in the car every hour.
the bad part was being pricked 5 times. I have bruises to prove it.
