Zofran was the only thing that gave me some relief! I was still vomitting on it but it allowed me to hold down some meals!

Have a GREAT trip and good luck!

I used:

Preggie Pops - they helped me for quite a while

Flat Coca-Cola - the Coke syrup is a known anti nausea agent.

Ginger

Crackers

Sea Bands

Ginger Ale

Lots and lots of carbs.

I also used Zofran. Without it I couldn't take care of my daughter. It was the only thing that helped. BUT, it did couse major constipation (i know TMI), so I couldn't take it all the time.

Re: what do YOU use for morning sickness???

I found that sucking on Sour Patch Kids really helped with the nausea.

I discovered they had 100 calorie packs of the candy at either Buy Buy Baby or Bed, Bath & Beyond. These were great, because I would throw a couple of packages in my bag-- so I always had them with me when I was out and about or traveling. Also, when you are consuming a 100 calorie pack, you are controlling the amount of calories you are eating in candy.

I don't have morning sickness, more of an all day nausea that comes and goes along with motion sickness (which is great for my daily trips on the LIRR) Chat Icon

I find that if I eat every few hours (2-3) I am ok. The more carbs I eat, the better I feel. I snack on dry Special K or Corn flakes, 100 calorie packs of wheat thins, fiber one bars, popcorn.

I also found organic applesauce at the supermarket which helps too. I don't eat fruit, so I figure this is my best way to get some in.

For rides on the train, I buy hard peppermint candies at cvs for a dollar. They help if you just pop it in your mouth and leave it there.

Good Luck, I hope it gets better.

Ginger altoids worked last time - but not this time. Actually strangely cream soda takes the edge off if I sip it this time.

Re: what do YOU use for morning sickness???

i can't say if feel perfect but it does help. I take unison (tablets not gelcaps) at night try 6-7pm then vit b6 in am. i am also horribly tired not sure if it's the pregnancy thing or the unisom. I am leaving for vacation next week and I am considering asking for some zofran because i still am only functioning at 50%
