BUMMED
My shower is Sunday and there's been almost no movement on my registries. Only 2 things came off this whole week.
I know I totally sound bratty but there's so many things I need, I think I'm going to end up spending a fortune to get everything I need to be ready plus all the furniture on top! I've been buying little by little here and there but now DH is starting to bitc* and is telling me we can't afford to get anymore things.... A few items I can wait on for the baby to grow but I don't see all the 100 + items being gone by tomorrow....

Do you friends and family tend to do things at the last minute? If so, there's a possiblity alot will come out tomorrow or Sunday morning.
Or they will be sending them after the shower if they can't make it...

I know exactly how you feel.......My shower is tomorrow @ 1pm & only 16 out of the 83 items on my registry have come off.....
But I know my family, they tend to buy gifts at the last minute. I know because I am guilty of do that myself...... I am assuming that a lot of things will be bought in the morning.

dont be bummed! maybe they are last minute shoppers, or your getting gift cards. Honestly I also think ((if u registered on BRU)) that there website isn't working, because everyone keeps telling me there buying stuff, but I haven't seen anything come off in a while, and mines next sunday

i agree - i got lots of gifts from my registry that didn't actually come off the list because of all the issues they are having. People even included the receipts that said it came off the registry but it never did in the system.  And there was a handful of people who shopped first thing in the morning...they must have been lined up at the store to get in!

I understand how you feel. I don't think it sounds bratty.
All I can tell you is BRU has screwed up so many things. I didn't see stuff coming off either. According to my mom, seems people bought duplicates and some items are still showing that were bought. So that is a possibility.
I hope alot of people bought you giftcards or there is some other explanation.

My shower is coming up and I have the same feelings.....my mother told me many people buy what they want, not what's on the registry. Makes me nutz, but what can we do.......

Dont be bummed. BRU has been having problems with its registry. I had received a few duplicates at my shower. Family could also be getting things from other stores. Even lots of clothes. We received so many clothes. DS doesnt need anything until he's 2.

Thanks girls! You're all very sweet trying to give me some encouragement. Nothing has been gone today either. I doubt anyone is gonna shop tomorrow. The shower is at 12pm and the tores open at 11a.m tomorrow. Look like I'll have a lot of shopping to do myself!!!

Could their be a coupon that doesnt start until today or tomorrow that alot of people are planning on waiting to use... could be a possiblity. I have a baby shower to go to in 2 weeks and havent even thought of buying anything yet.

this happened to me and felt so bad complaining - people gave me tons of clothes, but with receipts. I returned all the clothes and got what I needed. I was really upset b/c alot of people on my DH's side went off the registry. just return what you don't need.
