38 week appt---need some "clues"
I am *almost* 2 cm, but he said I am very ripe (thin). Any ideas on what I can do to jump start things?? I would like this baby out tomorrow, thank you very much

Definitely have sex. Walk as much as you can. Clean your house! (I nested big time the day I was admitted to the hospital.)

Did he strip your membranes?
Try doing lots of squats to help the baby engage in your pelvis.
If you're ripe then none of the things like evening primrose, pineapple, etc will help. You just need to baby to move into position and get things going.

thats what I thought about being ripe---that really I now just had to wait on the baby...I am going to try to do alot of walking, and alot of squats, plus jumping jacks (it helped with my first--even though it was probably a coincidence!!)
he didn't strip my membranes, but I also didn't ask. With it being halloween, I really wanted to trick or treat with my son I will ask them to do it next week (please dont let me make it to next weeks appt though!!!)
