when do you really start to gain weight, if you eat right?

i think it depends for everyone. i gained weight beginning at 6 weeks and havent stopped!

I didnt gain at all until about 20 weeks with Rj, and between 20-37 weeks I ended up gaining 50lbs (I didnt watch what I ate at all though)

This time, 8 weeks and I havent gained at all and Im hoping to have a little more self control this time and maybe only gain half of what I did last time

In the end, the weight DOES COME OFF- so try not to stress about it!

I am 16 weeks and gained about 2 1/2 pounds. But I look like i gained more!

Now you got me to look at my records ... I seem to be on the same track this pregnancy as last pregnancy:

14 weeks 1lb

18 weeks 6lbs
19 weeks 8lbs
21weeks 10lbs
23weeks 13lbs
24weeks 14lbs
25weeks 15lbs
28 weeks 16lbs
29 weeks 17lbs
31 weeks 18lbs
32weeks 20lbs
35 weeks 21lbs
38 weeks 22lbs (induced at 38 weeks)

for a total weight gain of 22lbs

I lost 15lbs immediately and the rest within 2 weeks, BFing helped I think.

eta:I'm normal weight for my height and I eat right w/the occasional splurges.

I am 19 weeks and am down 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. Originally I lost 10 pounds so I guess I can think of it as +5 from my lowest weight.

I think I heard that an average of 1lb gain per week from the beginning of the 2nd trimester is healthy.

I started gaining after 12 weeks and still managed to gain a total of 29 lbs. My biggest gains were between 16 and 24 weeks. I think it was 8 lbs each month!

I was up 12pds at my last appointment at 23 weeks and I checked my last pregnancy and I was up 17 pds at the same time. But I am a horrible eater

Just got back from the dr's.

I will be 27 weeks on Monday and I am up 10 pounds.

I really don't know what my pre-pregnancy weight was since I'm pregnant through IVF, and I gained a bunch of weight due to all the drugs I was on. Having said that, the first time I was weighed was at 10 weeks at my first OB appointment. As of my last Dr. appointment at 23 weeks, I was up 11lbs. I have another appointment next Wednesday at 26w2d.

I started around 11 weeks, gained about 30lbs...lost 21 lbs the first week, then another two the following...and I've since lost a total of 25lbs at 7 weeks PP...5 more to go!!
