For those of you that had steady weight gain
I've been gaining weight steadily, there hasn't been a month where I gained an insane amount, I've been gaining weight slowly, my Dr. actually mentioned that i have gained weight nicely, not too quickly but at a really good pace Did you notice you gained more towards the end or less...I've seen it level off a bit recently, but wanted to see if others shared the same experience!

Re: For those of you that had steady weight gain
I'm 25 weeks and I've been gaining weight in spurts. Right now I'm up 15 pounds. I gained 7 almost immediately...then I didn't gain for awhile. Then I put on an additional 3 pounds and so on.

Re: For those of you that had steady weight gain
I am up about 25 pounds as well at 27 weeks-- and god I hope it slows down. I gained a lot early on and I eat well-- so I am not sure why I am gaining so much, and I also really don't have a big belly so I am REALLY
I am praying that I have gained the weight I need to, and I don't put on more than 10 more pounds.
At the doc, the nurse did say that some people gain more at the beginning and less at the end, so I guess anything is possible.

Yah it looks that way, or hopefully that will be me, less weight gain towards the end....

You should be fine- maybe a few pounds more but I doubt you would go above 30 which is perfect

Re: For those of you that had steady weight gain
It took me a long time to start gaining weight. I actually lost weight in the beginning due to M/S. I was up 9 lbs at my last appointment (19.5 weeks). Now at 22 weeks, I'm up to 12lbs. I gained 3lbs in two Weeks.

Re: For those of you that had steady weight gain
I think if you start out abit underweight or near that you would gain quicker at the beginning because your body has to fatten up to prepare the baby... that's what happened to me.
But then it becomes more gradual. And gradual is good! I hear you're more likely to get stretch marks if you gain too much too quickly.
I'm almost 33 weeks and am up 30 lbs too, slow and steady and no stretch marks so far *knock on wood!*

I gained steady about a pound a week and now i am 5lbs off that target.
I am 24w3d today and got on the scale and up an even 30lbs! I cant believe it.
But the dr isnt concerned, she said just to start watching what i'm eating and try to go for a walk.

Re: For those of you that had steady weight gain
i've been gaining it steady - each month a few pounds. i'm up 15 at 21 weeks.
with my DD it was different. some months nothing other months 5 lbs - so i guess each pregnancy our body can react diffferent.
