Question about registry?

Do you think it would look weird if I wrote in the comments "Please give gift receipts" Or something like that. This is for the BRU registry since you need a receipt to return items.

Re: Question about registry?

I did! I was a bit hesitant because I didn't want to be tacky but I asked around and noone seemed put off by it. I also just kind of blamed it on bru. I wrote:

"please include a gift receipt in case of duplicates as exchange policy is very strict."

I was lucky that a lot of ppl did include the receipt!

That sounds good!! I may just have to write something. I will ask my Mom and MIL what they think.

Re: Question about registry?

I wrote "please include a gift receipt if possible due to BRU new exchange/return policy". I figured I had to give it a shot, lucky I did since i ALREADY found out some people bought duplicates.Chat Icon

Re: Question about registry?

I wrote "please suppky gift receipts as BRU will not take back duplicates without receipts. Very few people bought off my registry anyway...luckily i had a lot of my big items from family and my best friend. I also got a lot of cash and gift cards.

See I asked a bunch of people too and they all told me it was fine unless they were just humoring me. Either way, I don't think emphasizing "duplicates" and "exchange" is tacky at all. Its not like you are saying "please include a receipt so I can return what you bought me bc I hate it" Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Question about registry?

I did. I said it in a nice way. "Please include a gift receipt with your purchase as BRU ahs changed their retur policy and now requires a recept."
There's nothign wrong with that. You def. don't wanna be stuck and then they give you a hard time!
