Yay - but I LOVE what would normally be boys names for girls ........

(ie: LOVE James for a girl, DH isn't going for it)

Nay.

You may be open minded about that as a girl's name but alot of people still consider that a boys name so your daughter may be teased.

My husband loves that name and so do I.

You know what I really do not think it is a good idea to get opinions on names YOU like because everyone will have different thoughts.

As long as you and hubby like it, that is all that matters.Chat Icon

Even though I am against people taking all the "good" boy names for girls Chat Icon, I think this one will always safely stay a boys name. I still love it for a girl.

my nephew is a Dylan, and when we found out i was having a Chat Icon my sister said, "i hate to say it, but you should name her Dylan" lol...i couldnt have two Dylans in the family, but i DO love it for a girl...
p.s..
my sister and i are both boy names, and weve never been teased...
ps#2,,,i LOVE James for a girl...my name is jaime and everyone calls me james anyway,

My cousin named his daughter Dylann.

Maybe he felt the name to change it because my brother is named Dylan.
