Finally did it!
At 18 weeks, I finally told my boss that I was pregnant. He seemed sincerely happy for me and congratulated me.
I don't know why I was so scared to tell him. Most of my colleagues have young families. It's just that they are all males.
How did your boss treat you after you told them you were pregnant? Did they treat you the same or take it easier on you?
Unfortunately there is quite a bit of face time at my work. I'm hoping I'll be able to go home a little earlier if I am done with work. Work has been slow lately.

Good for you!!! My bosses are easier on me. Always telling me to go home early if I need to. They are very accomodating!!!

I told my boss yesterday (as i fell asleep in a meeting on Wednesday - only for 2 seconds - but i don't know if he noticed)....
I just wanted him to be aware if i act funny in meetings or run out of a convo quickly, that there's a reason....
SHOCKINGLY - he was great, VERY happy for me - shook my hand twice.
I truly was SHOCKED......he's very...um....cultural and believes that women belong in the kitchen and home, cleaning up after their men, etc...so the fact that he was excited was odd to me, but VERY happy and relieved.

My boss was very happy when I told her.
She treats me the same and is very understanding about dr's appts and such so far.

I just revealed at work this week at 13 weeks. I work in a school with all women and they are thrilled for me. I have noticed people being extra nice to me and concerned about my wellbeing. I think that's a common reaction people have around a pregnant lady.

Yay! Good for you! i'm glad he was so happy for you. it makes it much easier.
My boss is very overprotective of me. I liken it to working for your older brother. He doesn't want me doing anything but sitting at my desk. it's very sweet because i know he cares, but sometimes i have to  because he takes it to the extreme!

My principal was great about it, but he was more frustrated than anything else. There are SEVEN of us pregnant in the building, and we're all due within 4 weeks of one another!
