Concealing pregnancy until 16 weeks?

Hi Ladies:

Ideally, I'd like to keep my pregnancy a secret at work until around Thanksgiving. At that point I will be about 16 weeks.

At 11 weeks I already have a small pouch but it is easily hidden with a long sweather.

At what point did acquaintances notice your belly?

I know everybody is different but if you have any, can you please post belly pics around 16 weeks, so I can have an idea of how big or small I may be?

Mine are in my album. I was no size two to begin with, as you will see. Its a crap shoot.

You are just going to see how it goes. Every woman is diffrent and carries differently. See how long you can push it for.

I had extreme bloating from when I got PG until about 13 weeks and then it went down and I started getting big again around 18 weeks.

I'm 18 weeks and still haven't told work yet. I don't look pregnant at all. Whenever I see my friends who know I'm pregnant, the first thing they say is that I don't look pregnant.

Everyone's body is different. I was told that i would probably start showing by 14 weeks. I bet I could easily go to 20 weeks or more without anyone noticing.

I have pics in my album. With my first people started noticing right around 16 weeks. This time, by 14 weeks everyone could tell. You'll have to just wait & see. It varies for every woman.

I think people at my job started to notice around 16 weeks.

I told work around 13 weeks. There's no way I could've concealed my belly until 16 weeks. I was in maternity pants by then. It may be easier to hide a belly in the colder months though.

I will be 23 weeks tomorrow and I think people are just beginning to notice now.
I was average sized before but with big shirts no one had any idea.

I actually told work at 13 weeks. I could have waited as I was not showing. The only reason I told was because my boss was going on vacation for 3 weeks and I wanted to tell her before she left. I was worried that in the time she was gone I would not be able to conceal it and I would not want her to be the last to know when she got back.

I think I started getting a bump between 16-18 weeks.

Well, especially with the cold weather you could probably hide it until 16 weeks -- sweaters hide a lot. I think it depends -- if you're really skinny and usually dress in "skinny clothes" it might be harder.

A friend of mine actually hid her pregnancy at work until after she was 20 weeks. She is really tall, to I think that helped.

I think it depends on your size pre-pregnancy and everyone carries very differently! I was a size 00/0 before getting PG and stangers starting noticing about 13/14 weeks that I was pregnant. I'm also short- the baby had no where to go but out, so I popped fairly early.

I told my job when I was 7 months...i started there when I was 3 months and wanted to get my time in (i was laid off from a previous job at 3 months preg.)

they had an idea something was up like maybe newly preg. but when I told them how far along I was they didnt believe me...helps that im 5'8"
