How did everyone here know they were pregnant? Besides the obvious answer, a test?

That was it, I tested. We weren't trying so when my period never showed up, I tested....but not even until I was 2 weeks late. I had just come off the pill and figured my cycle was just still irregular. I had no symptoms.

The only way I knew I was pregnant was b/c of a test. I had horrible AF-like cramping a few days before I tested, but I didn't attribute that to being pregnant. I didn't really have any symptoms until after I got a BFP.
If I hadn't tested, I probably would've suspected something a few days later, which was when I started feeling nauseous.

We weren't trying, but I had missed a few pills at the start of my pack that month. About a week before my period, I started having weird stomach cramps. They were sort of like AF cramps, but a little different, and much earlier than expected. (I normally don't get cramps until AF actually starts). My boobs were sore and swollen, but I didn't pay any attention to that because I thought that was part of PMS. Anyway, I googled what these cramps could be, and found some info saying early sign of pregnancy. So I ran out and bought a test, and there were my two lines! Totally unexpected, but the best surprise of my life!

We weren't trying so I wasn't really looking for any symptoms. I remember thinking that my boobs felt more sore than normal. The first thought I had that I might be pregnant was the day that AF was due. I went to the bathroom and there was some light pink blood on the toilet paper, and then there was no other bleeding after that. That had never happened to me before so I kinda had a feeling. A few days later I took a test and it was positive.

I was slightly nauseous at the dinner that DH and I had the night before I tested. I told him at dinner that I think we should stop at the store on the way home for a HPT. I took it at 4:30 am when I got up to go to the bathroom and it said "pregnant".

Ive had weird cramps, almost like AF but almost like hunger pains. My boobs are sore and a little swollen. My period is due between the 28th and the 1st. Im just anxious to know. I took a test a few days ago and it was negative.

i was 2 days late and took a test. The only symptom i had was cramps - which was NOT out of the norm for me....i normally had cramps from O to AF.

We were trying and that month I was a little queasy, but other than that I think it was kind of an instinct thing, but since we were trying I was afraid to listen too much, I thought maybe I was trying to feel PG, if that makes sense.
I ended up having a lot of spotting rightbefore AF was due and cried the entire way home from work because I thought AF was coming and I had just "known" that I was PG. I took the test 2 days alster and it came back +

Same here with G. I just knew, and even though I got a week of BFNs I just kept testing.
This time I was hoping but I did not "know" until the Dr told me.

With Rj- I swore I was getting AF. He was a surprise, and since my symptoms were identical to AF I held off on taking a test (because i just thought she was late)
With this baby, I was trying...
I had increased CM about 3-4 days after I ovulated. Thats about the times the cramps started as well...I still get them time to time. To me the feel just like AF cramps.
My boobs hurt really bad, but not until after my BFP.

I just knew. At 5DPO I just didn't feel like myself at all. I was crazy tired, hungry all the time, irritable, and crampy. I just knew something was up. I got my BFP at 10DPO.

This is EXACTLY what happened to us!! I had the same feelings, but add a bit of exhaustion to it.. DH thought I had mono or something...

4 days before missed period and testing someone at work mentioned how much more tired i seem than normal. I noticed my smell was sensitive (i thought it was becuase i wanted to be preg), and started having food aversions... in the middle of eating something i was enjoying i suddenly was grossed out and couldnt take another bite.
Even when i tested i couldnt belive it, it took 11 cycles so i was starting to believe it would never happen even w/all the symptoms i was having

Got dizzy and anxious about it
I was a week past my period.
I was at work with a coworker who kept pressuring me to take the test (i had bought the digital test that weekend before) then all of a sudden I went to nod and nearly fell over. She saw my face and thought I was going to faint. I went home and POAS that night. Holding my tinkle since the City to get home too!!!
Took only one test. Came back positive so fast I was shocked! 26secs!

I forgot about the exhaustion! Yes, I had that too. A few days before I found out, I started falling asleep really really early. Actually, 2 nights before we found out, I came home from work and FH poked my stomach and said "are you pregnant?" I got REALLY insulted thinking he was calling me fat. So, I guess I must have been bloated too, but I didn't really notice that so much.

I had AF cramps a week before my BFP. They where strange cramps that would come and go. I also spotted a little a few days before. I had very sore boobs, that I have never had before.
Also, I started having food adversions. The day before I tested I went out to dinner, and ordered my usual. Well, I couldn't eat it. Especially since it had shrimp. Just the look of it disgusted me.
The night before I tested I couldn't sleep, I was up so many times. I was having strange dreams and I just got a feeling that I was Pregnant. I sat up in bed and new I had to test. Got my BFP that day.
