maybe 5 or 6 weeks, but it was at my RE's office.
I think if you got pregnant w/o medical intervention you *may* have to wait till you're about 8 weeks

not sure if an ultrasound is the same as a sonogram...
I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks
and sonogram at 12 weeks.

5w2d - but I'm pregnant thru IVF so I was with a RE where they monitor you weekly.
Most regular OBs won't see you until you are 8 weeks along

at exactly 6 weeks and I've been seeing my Dr every two weeks and he does a sono each time. I'm 10 weeks now

They are the same thing. 
I had a scare in the beginning and went to the hospital at 6 weeks so I had a sono then. Had I not had the scare, my dr. doesn't see anyone until 8 weeks so I would have had my first one then.

12 weeks because of a bleeding scare. If not my level II would have been my only one.

I had my first internal U/S last Friday. They think I'm around 6 weeks but aren't certain of that yet...

Ok thanks I just found out that the office I am going to doesn't have the sonogram machine there!! So I'm alittle bummed it will be my first visit next wed. So I might be either 7 or 8 weeks along not to sure. So maybe after that meeting they will send me in a week or two to have it done I hope.

I was 11 weeks. I had it because I was worried about viability due to a previous m/c & I turned down the ultrascreen so I wasn't going to have a sono then. Some offices do them around 8 weeks or so, but some just wait until the ultrascreen.

with my first pg I had my first sono done at 5 weeks then again at 6wks then 8 weeks.. I had found out I was preggo way early and my dr wanted to rule out any problems early on... I was watched close.. my first visit LMP was at 8 weeks and that is usually when you would get your first sono done...
This pg I will have my first done at 8wks and the wait is killing me .... thank god i only have to wait until monday.
