I am so sick.....
I went to the doctor today and I have an upper respiratory infection that is inflaming my asthma. I normally get bronchitis (since I am an asthmatic) so, I went to the doc. before things got too bad. I guess it was good to catch things before they went down the road that my colds normally take....
But, when I got there I was wheezing and needed a nebulizer. They said I have to be really careful and to use my inhalers so that I am not derpriving my little nugget of O2. I am on an anitbiotic and I can take regular tussin if I need it. They thought for sure it was strept because my throat was so red.. but, thank god the rapid test was negative.
So, now I am putting myself to bed, with a fat free orange smoothie from Madison's... (can I just add that I love that my pregnancy craving is located about 1,000 feet from my front door )
In conclusion, I feel like crud!

I'm sorry to hear! Those early pregnancy illnesses are killer! I had a cold at 8 weeks and thought I would die.

oh Tricia I hope you feel better soon.....I'm so glad you went to the doctor! Don't you love how nothing makes you feel better then a cold treat, warm pj's and your bed.....Always works wonders

I feel your pain. I never had asthma before getting PG and during this Fall allergy season I could not breathe. I had to go on medication for relief and was so worried about oxygen deprivation for the baby. Take your meds and keep that asthma under control. GL!

I feel your pain - It's awful !! I'm still flip flopping on whether or not I'm getting sick, or if my allergies are getting really bad b/c my asthma has been acting up since week 5 ........
I use my inhalers and my nebulizer whenever I need it -
Sorry, but if I can't breather, baby can't breathe either !!
I found that propping myself up with a few pillows helps my breathing ........Myabe try that ?? Hope you feel better soon !!

Ugh that is miserable to have. I hope you feel better soon But at least you have a great excuse to relax and have all the orange smoothies you want.
