Why do I look like a teenager?

My acne is so bad.. I need to know what I can use to fix my face!!! Its pretty bad.. is there anything I cant use? (Thats what I meant to ask...)

I think it's salicylic (sp?) acid that you CAN'T use ........try witch hazel all over your face every night - and for thse acne that has already come 'out' - believe it or not, bactracin works really well -

I think it calms down the swelling and prevents any more bacteria from spreading

My dr. (and others) say salicylic acid is fine. But some say stay away....like every other pregnancy do/don't. You wish they'd all be on the same page but they're not.

I use the same stuff that I've always used and my dr has no issue with it. Salicylic acid shouldn't be ingested though, but I"m sure you're not doing that, and there's such a small amount in the acne cleansers and you're only using it on a small surface area. But check with your OB of course and then do whatever you feel comfortable with.

imagine.. who would ingest salycic acid? thanks ladies.. going to ask the dr what i can do next appointment... I look like one of my students!

Oh yes...... I NEVER had acne as a teenager and now I have it thanks to my little . SHe's going to give it all to her mommy so that she comes out with porcelain skin

I have sensitive skin, so I have always used Cliniques 3 Step process.

My midwife says its fine..... I don't believe their is salycilic acid in the soap.

i have a prescription from the derm. AND it still doesnt work... blame the darn hormones!

ask the doc - see what they say! all docs are different..

Haha.. its not that bad.. i cover it with my hair mary... when i have it back, its when I look acne faced.. are they putting in new windows by the way in your house?

I had awful acne all through my first trimester. I did the witch hazel thing and it helped somewhat, but there was really nothing that helped. It did go away, though, and now I hardly have any. knock wood!
