DH and I just came home from BRU and he picked out the Graco Bedroom Bassinet. It fits right next to our bed. I didn't car which type we got, my only requirement was that it was high enough that I would not have to bend over much to reach in to get the baby. I want to make things easy as possible after the C-section.

I had this one for DD, and she loved it... Had the vibes, singing, nature sounds, and classical music plus a mobile that I loved....

With DD we bought an extra PNP (on sale for $35 ) and we used the bassinet on that with the changing table as well next to our bed when she was first born.
After we were done with it, it went to grandmas. I had heard of too many people where their DC grew out of the bassinet too quickly and DD had plenty of space in the PNP.
We had issues with her early on and she actually ended up staying in our room until 6 months (my original plan was to transition her at 3 months) and there is no way she still would have fit in the bassinet that long. It definitely worked out well for us.

We just got a pack n play. The bassinet for us is a waste. The pack n play comes in soo much handier. I still use it 2 1/2 yrs later.

I am using the arm's reach mini co-sleeper because we need it to last about 6 months or so and they are a little bigger than regular bassinets. But, I just bought the same cuddle n care for my friend.
