question about car leases
my lease is almost up on my car and i've seen on here that people go back to the dealership and get newer models of their car or just switch to a completely different car type but within the same brand. if i do this and stick to the same brand car, can i talk them into me putting no money down at all? not even having to pay the taxes and other BS fees? or will i have to come out of pocket the fees no matter what?
sorry if thats a dumb question, this is my first lease ending.

Re: question about car leases
I went from an Acura to a Honda (both Honda Financial) leases. My new lease was 1st months payment, i put the taxes and fees into my lease. No issues at all.

Re: question about car leases
I was able to do that on my first and only lease. I don't think it will be a problem.

Re: question about car leases
They will offer you something to stay..prehaps waiveing wear and tear charges or dipose fee's. When its time to ground your car, talk to them. If they don't offer you something good, go with another brand of car that may be offering something better...
as for taxes, someone has to pay them. weather its you, them or they work it into the loan.

Re: question about car leases
you never HAVE to put money down..it just makes your monthly payment cheaper..you can roll everything into your payment and you'll have nothing out of pocket, but your payment will be $$$

If they waive wear & tear or any over mileages make sure you get it in writing. My DH's cousin got screwed after turning in a mazda for a new mazda and had to pay money to the dealership even though they said they would waive it.
