Just came from monthly appt
and at 17wks, I haven't gained any weight! How can this be! I have been a "chubby" girl all my life. I look at food and I gain weight. My doctor says it's fine - I shouldn't be concerned, right?

I am a chubby girl too and I think you are in good shape. According to what I have read, us "chubbies" are only supposed to gain 15-20 pounds total.

Yeah, this concerns me! I don't know what my weight was before getting pregnant since my RE didn't weigh me. But since my 10 week appointment, I've gained 9lbs (I'm 22 weeks). I have a loooong way to go still!

i am a skinny girl and did not start gaining until after 17 weeks...your body will do what it wants so as long as you are eating healthy, don't sweat it!

I figure that eventually it might catch up with me. My belly is certainly getting bigger, so I know that something is going on in there!

Don't worry, i'm also chubby! I lost 14 lbs my first trimester and i'm still down 11lbs and i'm 21 weeks!
My midwife isn't concerned. I keep a food journal that we go over at my appointments and i'm eating appropriately and my belly is measuring on target. I have also been exercising more than before I got pregnant and doing pre natal yoga so i'm in better shape now then pre-preg
