My Intro
My husband Dave & I are having a baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Late'ish Wednesday, I got a light line on a Dollar Tree test, then a light line on a Walgreens test. The next time I had to tinkle, I used a digital Walgreens test and in less than a minute it came up with:
I had just started seeing an RE and had an internal ultrasound done and was about to start a whole, 'challenge test' thing upon the arrival of AF...but it never showed. I will be with the RE until they 'release' me upon week 8 to my OB....so that's why i have had the tests listed below...
My blood test numbers from Thursday:
HCG was 142
Progesterone was 13
Estrodille was 258.
My blood test numbers from Sunday:
Beta: 307
Progesterone: 19
I have to go for another blood test and an ultrasound on Sunday, the 12th. They will be looking for the 'fetal pole and yolk sack'.
We are 'due' on June 11th, 2009. 
So hi there to everyone!!!!
And here goes my first question.....
Does anyone have any good pregnancy books you love/d??

Congrats!!!!
WHen I first got my bfp, I liked reading What To Expect When Your Expecting(its technical but informative) and The Girlfriends Guide To Pregnancy. Now I am into Baby Bargains Book.

Your Pregnancy Week by Week
What to Expect When Expecting -some people think this book is alarmist and get freaked out by it, I have no problems with it - if you tend to be a worrier, than it may not be the book for you.
Belly Laughs (it's a funny quick read)

The best books I've found are:
Your Pregnancy Week by Week
The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy
And when it comes time to register/research baby gear this is the bible:
Baby Bargains
ooh, and sign up on Babycenter.com, put in your due date so you get weekly updates on your pregnancy. Also, the website as a whole is a great source of info.

i had the bridal bargains book - i didn't know they had a baby one too!
Definitely will have to get that one!
I have the week by week book on hold at the library - going to pick it up tonight....

Congrats! My fav books were "your Pregnancy Week by Week," and "Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy." I did not like What to Expect. I am a worrier and the beginning, although very technical, can be a little frightening.

honestly - i bought What To Expect a LONG time ago....i figured, let me start reading so i know what to expect BEFORE expecting.
It scared the bejeeeezuz out of me....
I then got the Idiot's Guide to Pregnancy and Birth and that was cuter - more funny and witty than scary...but then it just made me sad....because this was back in June....we had been trying at that point for 4 months...

 Also for a good chuckle "Belly Laughs" was a great read too!
WTE skeered the living poop out of me. I swear that book was responsible for 1/2 of my early PG nightmares

Congrats and Welcome! I agree with these books! All were great! Use the books as a reference, dont read all the way through otherwise you can make yourself crazy. Good luck!

For informational purposes, I really like Your Pregnancy Week By Week. For a fun read, Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy is great. Belly Luaghs is funny too. When it comes time to register, Baby Bargains is a must have book.

(I like What to Expect when youre Expecting- but its not one of my favorites)
I also love a book called Love Letters to my Baby by Vickey Banks which is a journal type book I'm keeping for my little one.
