pls help me pack my hospital bag!!!

I know i need 2 bags one for the labor and one for my hospital stay. pls make a list of what u have packed for each bag. thank u ladies for ur help!!!!

So I packed by the book........take home outfit for baby, PJ's, socks, robes, make-up, magazines, clothes, slippers, baby powder, etc. etc. etc. Guess what.........I barely used a thing!!! I had a C-section and was breastfeeding so it was easier to wear a fresh hospital gown each day. I took one shower while there the 3 days because it was agony to do so after the surgery and the shower was super small so I did sponge baths until I got home after the initial shower I took the day after surgery. I was SO exhausted, SO drugged up after surgery, SO busy with my DH, visitors, lactation consultants, and baby that there was NO time for magazines. Wearing make-up????.............please, it was enough of an effort to just get up every day.

My advice, pack Kotex overnight maxi pads (they ROCK!!!!!......the bleeding can be intense at times), a pair of slippers, basics like shampoo, soap, and toothbrush, lots of underwear, and something to wear home for yourself and the baby. Other than that you don't need much and if you do DH can always bring you what you need. Just my opinion because I came home with a very neatly packed, barely untouched suitcase.

i only had one small suitcase i packed:
nursing bra, nursing tank top, sports bra tank top, robe, comfy pants, shorts
socks, zip up hoodie in case its cold
slippers, all the bathroom stuff
i went to walmart and bought a travel toothbrush for DH and I so I could pack it, small toothpaste, loofa and body wash, travel cue tips, shampoo, conditioner
I also bought extra heavy pads from there
I bought boyshorts because im not a big fan of granny panties they were cheap at walmart and i dont care if they get ruined. They had a pack of 5.

clothes for DH
change of clothes in case my water broke at work or out
My baby book
Then in my diaper bag i packed stuff for a couple different outfits, hats, mittens, socks, a couple diapers, and a baby blanket
Then my camcorder, camera and laptop seperate.
I also packed in a ziplock baggie 5 days worth of my prenatal vitamins and iron pills. The only thing that is not packed is my pillows from my bed. I still haven't figured out how we would do this, but I figured someone can stop home and grab them for us.
I also brought my breastpump because I was told they will teach you how to use it in the hospital.

Since this was my 2nd baby I knew not to pack too much stuff...

I packed my night shirts, a robe, granny panties, flip flops (after a c-section I was not about to bend down to put socks or slippers on) my regular size bras (I was not BF'ing so I wore my old bras to help hold in the boobs better, it helps to minimize the milk coming in). I had my hair dryer, face wash, shampoo/conditioner (I showered every day I was in the hospital). Don't forget clothes to come home in and clothes for the baby.

I packed my phone charger and brought extra batteries for my camera.

I packed so much stuff and all I used was my camera, batteries, my notebook, pj's, slippers and robe plus my undergarments....

DH brought DS outfit to the hospital the night before i was going home and the carseat the day of ...
