If I pump and not a lot of milk comes out..Is this still increasing my milk supply? I fed him at 5AM .. I wanted to pump some milk for his cereal(at 8AM) and not that much came out?

Sometimes I got a little amount if I wasn't fully relaxed and not achieving let-down. I would assume it still increases your supply. Any bit of 'sucking' helps.

I assumed if you let out milk this would keep the supply from drying up.. so by pumping even a little may not increase but will also keep from decreasing. I dont think pumping alone will increase.. you need to drink alot of water and eat properly.
