Clothing Question

Ok my daughter is starting to out grow her 3Ts but for shorts she still fits 24 months. She is very tall and skinny. I went last night and bought her 4Ts. They fit her lengthwise but they fall off of her because she is so skinny. I am going to Kohl's later to get the Levi's with the adjustable weight, but these are so big on her waist I don't think they will be able to fit either.

Any suggestions for very tall and skinny?

Re: Clothing Question

I have always had this problem with my DD. Adjustable waists are my friend. also elastic waist "cozy pants" (as DD used to say) My cousin would add her own elastic to things to make her own adjustable waists but I am to lazy for that!! Sometimes now with sweat pants we have to safety pin a little on the side to make them fit.

Check out Old Navy & Children's place for clothes too. Also sears carries some adjustable stuff as well.

Good luck! You're definatly not the only one!!

Re: Clothing Question

Children's Place and Gap have had adjustable waist pants. That's what we've been buying. Gymboree has some too that adjust.
We got the fairly small. Maybe not quite small enough but they weren't falling off her.

Other suggestion. Leggins. We have lots of leggings with dresses.

Re: Clothing Question

I don't suggest Gymboree. Although they do have adjustable waists every single pair of pants I got for Emma (also tall and skinny) were too short! even buying a larger size.
