Registering for Toys
I haven't added any yet, and this is inclusive of books, DVDs, etc. Anyone want to recommend some popular DVDs, book or even toys? Thanks!

Books for babies or books for yourself?
If for yourself, I would recommend the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD since there's really good advice on how to soothe a crying baby.
If for baby, I've heard that it's better to avoid letting baby watching DVDs 'cus it's better to promote active learning. Get them a swing, playmat, bouncer or rocker instead...
I've heard good things about the Graco and Fisher Price swings. Check out amazon.com and Babies R Us for buyer recommendations.

I registered for a few Baby Einstein DVD's. I also registrered for a floor gym, some rattles, a light show toy, a few other little things. Of course baby boy already has his first plush toy soccer ball and matching rattle! Daddy made sure! lolol

I waited to add them until the important stuff was already gone from the registry... boppy floor gym, a lot of lamaze toys for the carseat and stroller.
the only things I added right away were toys that mommy loved too much

Also wanted to add:
Tiny Love Symphony in Motion mobile. A few friends have described this as kiddle crack! They say it's incredible- we added it to our registry and it was bought immediately!
