Are the FRER better than the digital ones (that say pg/not pg) that you can do 5 days before AF? I'm afraid that I'm going to be convincing myself I'm seeing things that aren't there.... then again,"not pregnant" is kind of a harsh thing to see....

The FRER are more sensitive than the digital.
You can only test 4 days before AF at the earliest (the commercials say 5 days before your MISSED period).
If you read the box though, it's only about 68% accurate then. You don't get that 99.9% accuracy as advertised unless you wait until your period is due.
