I don't know what to do...
DS woke up this morning with a cold (coughing, sneezing, runny nose) DS #1 has it too and I have a touch of it. My sister just called me and he has a 101.4 temp. I called the doctor to bring him in and the receptionist told me its up to me but there is really nothing they can do for him that young and to just ride it out etc. Would you still bring him in? I hate this I don't want to make the wrong decision. He is 3 1/2 months.
He does have Thrush. Can the fever be from that?

I probably would just so they can check his lungs, throat, ears, etc. to make sure there isn't another reason for the fever. If they dont find anything at least you have peace of mind and can just give him tylenol to help with the fever.

I wouldnt unless there is a fever. There are so many germs in the doctors office, that if his resistance is low because of the cold, he will pick up whatever bugs are there.

If he has a temp that your peds consider a fever and tylenol and moltrin aren't helping with and lasts over night, then i would just bring in to have them check to see if its viral or not.
