Vent about Peds
I wanted so bad to switch ped offices. I do not like the one I have currently and I have had the name of a new one who is highly recommended. I tried to switch before but they told me they only accept newborns. So here I am almost 30 weeks thinking great I have an in...no they will take the newborn not my son! This stinks!!!

only newborns. i think its dumb too. what is the big deal? but his allergist actually called this dr too to ask if he would take my son and he said no. It is only a 2 dr practice in manhassett so maybe they dont want to take on too many? i dont know but it stinks!

no i guess their practice is full so only newborns will be excepted

frankly, that odd policy makes me wonder about their entire practice.... becuase of the attitude it conveys.
if you're not with us at birth, we don't want you! 
IMO, keep looking for another good ped.

IMO, keep looking for another good ped.
You know it makes me think now that you say that. I have been to 2 ped offices since my son was born and it is hard to find the right office thatI feel comfortable with
