remaining sept moms: any progress?
I was feeling all 'progressive' last wed fatigue, AF-like cramping, tons of BH cramps.... then thurs, it disappeared. I insisted on an internal last thurs, and it was only 1cm dilated and slight effacing
since thurs, Scone seems quite content staying exactly where he is no symptoms of anything...
the only really subtle things I'm experiencing: fri and sat I did not feel like junk, so I think that was the infamous 'burst of energy'. I returned to 'normal' on sunday.
my ankle swelling had increased EVEN more as of the weekend.... I don't even have to be upright to get serious hard-core swelling. I think Scone may have dropped even more?
ugh, why do I think I'll go late??? I'm due sunday, and I can't even imagine entering labor by that time, judging how I feel right now... I pray I'm more than 1cm dilated by now.... next internal is thurs.....
how are you feeling? any progress?

Re: remaining sept moms: any progress?
Well technically I'm due 10/1 but my c-section will be Thursday since he's breech. I was in last Tues with contractions 3 min apart 80% effaced and a fingertip dilated so I was sure he would be here by now, but those contractions seemed to have tapered off back to the normal BH ones. Otherwise I feel pretty good, just getting nervous about the surgery.

Re: remaining sept moms: any progress?
so that happened to you too! it was so wierd.... one day, and then several days of almost nothing.
Sunday was interesting though... I literally slept the day away. stayed on the couch, and took 4 naps that were at least 40 min long each..... and then slept a full night.
I'm so impatient!
Don't stress too much over the section... many moms get it, and overall, they say the recovery isn't bad at all.... so stay optimistic!

Yeah it's wierd, some days I feel like I could definately be going into labor and have really strong contractions, but then other days I feel fine. It's so frustrating!!! I'm just happy to have an end in sight, even if it means a c-section!!

Re: remaining sept moms: any progress?
I'm due on Thursday and at my last internal (last Thursday), I was effaced and the baby wasn't "floating" anymore, but no dilation. I had some mild contractions last night, but nothing today. I totally feel like I'm going to be late.
The doc won't let me go more than a week after my due date, but I would prefer not being induced. Now I'm just praying that she comes before then.
It's just so frustrating. I have my next appointment on Friday morning. Hopefully I won't need it!
