HI Everyone,introducing Shane
Hi girls!!! I'm so late with the intro, sleep deprivation is rocking my world, but it's all good 
Well baby Shane arrived on Sept 10, weighing in at 7lbs 8oz... We waited around for 20 hours after induction until the doc called for a C-section.
For anyone having a scheduled "C" or a "surprise C" like mine, I can honestly tell you, IT'S REALLY NOT BAD!!! Of course the nerves are worse than any "pain" -- I just felt loads of pressure while they got the munchkin out, but DH was there giving me the play by play and keeping me calm. Once you see your munchkin you seriously don't feel a darn thing, I just wanted to hold the little guy so waiting for the docs to finish up felt like an eternity, but I was watching as Daddy held him and I was a-ok!
I'll put my birth story up soon with details about
*Induction and dilation,
*Epidurals - AND WHAT TO DO AFTER DELIVERY IF YOU HAVE ONE(!) -- a/k/a why I'm firing my OB 
*C-Section and recovery
*The 2 moments where I almost called a divorce lawyer
*The best "PUSH PRESENT". Ever.
*Coming home, recovery, and the joy of breast feeding 
*And lastly, if this were a movie they'd call it "There Will Be Hormones".
