All over my belly!!! I feel like my skin is crawling....I was told to use benadryl...ugh...now I am done being Pregnant!!

 I had it all over my hands and feet for the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy. I couldn't sleep because I was itching so bad. Nothing seemed to help me.

I have it too and was prescribed prescription benadryl like meds and a strong steroid cream. Here is a post that I made with some really helpful hints from another poster who had it (Elbee I think)

It's a rash sometimes within stretch marks That is how mine are-it is small bumps that form scabs when you scratch them. It is really annoying.

ugh, that does not sound fun at all. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.
Could it last throughout the remainder of your pregnancy or will it clear up?

The only way to cure it is to deliver. I am counting my blessings right now that it does not itch 24-7 usually only at night. Flatbread sorry to hijack

Feel better soon. This is the 2nd term I saw on here so far today that I didn't know. I am such a clueless mama-to-be. I don't know if that's good or bad.........I think I'd rather not know a lot of these things!!

Go out and get yourself a big bottle of Original Sarna lotion. You will smell like a nasty old lady but it gives such great relief Do some research online about the causes--you will find out some interesting stuff. Some research has it linked to an overworked liver and there are natural remedies like Nettle Tea and Dandelion Root tincture. I hope you get some relief

Ugh, it stinks!! And NOTHING helped.
Actually, I kept witchazel in my fridge and would rub it on my belly. That would give some relief for about 2 nanoseconds.
Then the OB suggested cortizone. Tried that too and it worked for maybe a few minutes.
It's so hard to not scratch. I found rubbing helped.
